Fabric Shopping

While I may not have any quilting projects  to show you, I thought you may enjoy a few photos of a shop I only go to once or twice a year.  It's out in the country and I have to make a special trip.

Country Manor Quilting  in Battle Ground, WA has bolts and bolts of reproduction fabrics!
Gorgeous!
Great variety of shirtings too!
This is the sale room! (PART of the sale room!)Yes, be ready to dig if you need to find the "perfect" piece of fabric.

Here are the few lovely pieces I picked up, I can never have too many reds.
Happy Monday!

Reds disappear fast from my stash and I'm really low at the moment. Those are nice ones you have there!

  9. I like the shop too. But the people are a little different. If you run out of a fabric you can fine it their, years later. Sally

  11. me gustaría pasar toda una tarde en esa tienda,
no quiero pensar cuantas telas podría comprar,
seguro que perdería el control y me tendrían que rescatar,
    buena semana

  13. I've been to this shop many time in the past. It used to be in an old house until they build the building they are in now. It's run by a mother and daughter. There is so much fabric every where and the books are just stacked up in piles. Anyone going for the first time should plan to spend several hours. I didn't get there last year but plan to make it there this summer when I visit my kids in Vancovuer, Wa. Thanks for the tour!

  18. Looks like a person could have some good fun in the sale room. I received an e-mail from our big local shop that they have opened a 2nd shop with sale fabrics. They outgrew the already big building. I have not been yet to check it out.
